On Friday the 22 of May, police officer Robbie Noggler came into our school to talk about technology privacy, how to protect ourselves from others online and personal privacy posts.
last week in art, while the year 7s had Naplan, the year 6s and 8s went down to the p-5 art room and drew some graffiti. Mrs Lim showed us some basic graffiti templates and the steps to making some good graffiti. There was a lot of rubbing out and a lot of sketching and coloring.
In Science we learnt that hydrogen is extremely flammable and helium is not. Our teacher showed us some of this footage from YouTube and then did an experiment. Our teacher showed us how to make hydrogen. Then we did the experiment of high pitch (like the sound a balloon makes) and low pitch (low like an explosion) experiments.
In our books we had to draw three columns and the headings were good, a question mark and bad. We had to write if helium was good, bad or unsure (question mark). We really enjoyed the lesson! We went to Staughton Vale on the 20th of February. Some of us travelled on a Mini Bus. It took half hour to get there. When everyone from Pod 1 arrived we went to the main building and started to talk about what we are doing for the day.
